Once the capital of Ajila Dynasty, Venur is now a popular destination known for its impressive 35-foot-high statue of Bahubali, created in 1604 AD by King Thimmanna Ajila. This remarkable statue stands on a platform without any support and is the smallest of the four Bahubali statues in the state of Karnataka.
