Goa, the land of beautiful golden beaches, draws in tourists from across the country. For those that love a beach vacation, the state has plenty to offer and, experiencing its vibrant culture and natural beauty is an experience that stays with you long after you leave. However, if you love the peace and quiet of the ocean as it gently swells and crests against the sandy shore, it can be tough to find serenity with so many beaches attracting hordes of tourists.
Moon Beach is one of the little gems of Goa that should be seen at least once when you visit this glorious state. The southernmost beach in the state, it is located between two rocky headlands in a remote area away from mainstream travelers. Away from the party atmosphere, Mother Nature thrives under warm golden sunshine, and red craggy cliffs rise high in the sky interspersed with long stretches of lush, greenery. This ocean trek takes you to this lovely, hidden spot to you can taste serenity on your vacation. If you're a bird lover, you can spot the white-bellied sea eagles and other bids that nest in the region.
Although you can't swim at Moon Beach, you can finish up the hike and head over to Palolem Beach. There are plenty of beachy shacks for you to sprawl out and enjoy the sun before taking a refreshing dip in the blue waters of the ocean (not included in the trek cost).

- Fitness level required: - you should be able to walk 4 km in one hour at a stretch.

Note:
- Due to the COVID-19 situation, we're not stopping at any restaurants or providing food and water.
- Make sure you pack anything you're carrying in plastic or waterproof material and then pack it in a small backpack. Please don't bring any sling bags as you'll need both hands free to explore the sea caves.
- Ensure you pack as light as possible. If you're hiking with family, please divide the load amongst everyone so that one person isn't carrying all the weight/water for the rest of the family.

FAQs
This is my first time trekking, how can I be prepared?
You need to have a reasonable amount of fitness. These are short distance treks. However, make sure that you carry and wear everything listed out
Who will guide the trek?
The Adventure Breaks team is well trained in outdoor activities and they know the area well. There are always at least two trek coordinators with each group of at least 10 trekkers
What can I do if I need a break or feel too tired to complete the trek?
You must ask for a stop. In any case we make multiple stops in scenic places. The journey is important not just the destination.
Are there any bathroom facilities on the way?
Along the trek route nil. You will learn to use the outdoors.
Is there any first aid in case of any emergencies?
Our team is trained in first aid. We also carry a complete First Aid kit.
