Lepakshi, a village near the Veerbhadra Temple, is home to the impressive idol of Nandi Bull and exquisite paintings. The monolithic granite sculpture of Nandi, standing at 4.5m in height and 8.23m in length, is believed to be the largest statue in India and attracts a large number of tourists. Additionally, the village boasts remarkable sculptures and mural paintings on the walls of Natya and Kalyana Mandapams, also known as dance and wedding halls, which are considered the finest examples of Vijayanagara style of architecture.
