Shaar Harahamim The Gate of Mercy Synagogue

Set in the vibrant city of Mumbai, the Shaar Harahamim Synagogue is one of the few remaining synagogues in the area, located in Masjid Bandar. Consecrated in 1796, this historic site has a rich past, having been demolished and reconstructed in 1860. The present two-story structure is crafted from chunam, a mixture of polished lime and sand, exuding an air of timeless elegance and significance.
