Overview
Head to the largest temple in Pattadakal, built in the 8th century to celebrate Vikramaditya II's victory over the Pallavas of Kanchi. This active temple is a must-visit in the Pattadakal complex, and was inspired by the Kailasanatha Temple in Kanchipuram.
