Overview

Discover the striking and well-maintained Katra Mosque, a significant tourist spot in Murshidabad, West Bengal. Built in 1724 by Murad Farash Khan, a devoted follower of Murshid Quli Khan, the mosque also serves as the tomb of Quli Khan, who is buried under the entrance stairs. It is believed that the mosque was constructed in response to Murshid Quli Khan's wish to be buried in a mosque.
