Things To do in Kumbhalgarh

Commissioned by King Rana Kumbha in 1460, the Mammadev Temple lies within a crypt beneath the majestic Kumbhalgarh Fort in Rajasthan. The temple, which formerly housed four significant slabs engraved with the history of Mewar, now features a pair of cenotaphs commemorating the Raja of the fort, Raja Kumbha, and Prithviraj Chauhan. Additionally, visitors can explore a large water reservoir adjacent to the temple, which offers a glimpse into the rich history of the region from the time of Guhil to the reign of Rana Kumbha.
