DAY 1

After arriving at the ‘Queen of Arabian Sea — Kochi’, a relaxed and laid back car journey to ‘Suryanelli’. Situated 40kms east of Munnar, this hamlet in Idukki district of Kerala is known for the picturesque beauty of sprawling tea plantations and breathtaking mountain views. Spend the rest of the day on a leisurely note, sinking in the beauty of Western ghats.

DAY 2

Rise and shine! Wake up in the wee hours of morning to hop on a jeep and leave to witness the sunrise from the peak of ‘Kolukkumalai’. This region lies in Kerala’s bordering district Tamil Nadu and is famous for the high altitude tea plantations. Get ready to devour one of the most flavourful tea in the world along with lip-smacking dishes made by our chefs at Tentgram’s Plantation Hostel, Suryanelli. Spend the rest of the day in Hotel shrugging off the tiredness of the early morning ride. A whole array of enthralling experiences awaits you for the rest of the day. Kayak around a natural lake while meditating in the silence offered by the magical Western ghats. Revel in the glory of Munnar’s therapeutic weather and experience raw nature by signing up for a zipline ride. Walk into the history of Munnar during our tea plantation walk activity where you will get a chance to observe the life in the tea plantation from close quarters. Get back to the hotel during dinner and give yourself the much needed break after an exhilarating day.

DAY 3

After checking out of the hotel, enjoy the pleasant car ride to ‘Marayur’, On the way, visit ‘Eravikulam National Park’, a riveting Wildlife repository with around twenty six species of mammals including the largest surviving population of Nilgiri Tahr. The park also offers the sight of some of the most scenic landscapes that could be found in South india. Check in at the hotel accommodation arranged at ‘Marayur’ and engage in the activities nearby.

DAY 4

A scintillating day is awaiting you in ‘Marayur’. Right after the check out from the hotel, head to the pristine Thoovanam Waterfalls, located inside the Chinnar Wildlife sanctuary. A fine location for trek enthusiasts to immerse in the unfiltered beauty of Western ghats. The next destination for the day would be the Muniyara - Anakottapara Park. This park allows the tourists to trek through the area of Muniyara to reach 15 different types of Dolmens that belong to the neolithic age. This shall be followed by a trip to the Sandalwood forest, a dense jungle situated on the border shared between Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This forest houses a large number of sandalwood trees that attracts a large number of tourists for the unparalleled fragrance and small olive green leaves. End the day on a riveting note at the hill town of Munnar where a quick city tour exploring the tea museum would be finished off before checking in to the hotel.

DAY 5

Your 5th day with Tentgram starts with a trip to ‘Vattavada’, a rain shadow region that lies on the leeward side of the Western ghats. ‘Vattavada’ is the major hub for cultivating vegetable produce to several parts of Kerala. The village also boasts of an almost therapeutic weather due to its geographical location. Right around ‘Vattavada’ lies some of Munnar’s top tourist attractions. The rest of the day will be utilised to cover’ Matupetti dam’, ‘Echo point’, ‘Top Station’ and ‘Kundala dam’. Spend your night at the hotel relishing the quiet life in Munnar town in a splendid weather.

The last day of the trip. After breakfast, you’ll be dropped to the Cochin Airport/Railway station
