About Bhimgad Adventure Camp
Bhimgad Adventure Camp in Khanapur, managed by Jungle Lodges and Resorts, is the perfect retreat. Stroll through serene forests, dip your feet in cool streams, go birdwatching, or explore the scenic wonders around Belgaum.
Just two hours from Goa, Hubli, and Kolhapur, the camp features cozy wooden cottages nestled among tall trees, wildflower-filled meadows, and forested trails alive with birdsong. It’s a haven for birders—look out for the Velvet-fronted Nuthatch, Malabar Grey Hornbill, Imperial Pigeon, Emerald Dove, and the elusive Malabar Trogon.
Beyond the camp, Belgaum’s waterfalls—Sural, Amboli, and Gokak—offer beautiful picnic spots and spectacular views. Explore historic sites like Belgaum Fort and Rajhansgad (Rajhamsh Fort), try your hand at pottery, or tee off at the nearby Belgaum Golf Course.
