Are you a budding ornithologist searching for new species of birds to spot? Coorg with its emerald landscape is home to 320 species of birds, accounting for over 25% of all bird species in India. Travel to the ‘Scotland of India’ and join an experienced naturalist as you traverse through the grasslands and forests of this beautiful hill station.  

Spot birds like the Painted Storks, Woolly-necked Stork, Eurasian Spoonbill, or the Great Cormorant. Carry your camera along and take snapshots of these lovely winged creatures in their natural habitat or as they fly through the air. Learn about the different species, how to identify them and what makes them truly special.  

With a local guide at your side, Coorg is ready to open the doors to the secrets of its outdoors.

Timings:  

  • Slot 1 - 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM
  • Slot 2 – 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM

  • Snacks in the forest (dry fruits etc.).
  • Instructions from the Birdman of Coorg.

 

Exclusions:  

  • Accommodation is not included. However, if any assistance is required, you can get in touch.

Cancellation Policy

  • If cancellation is intimated between 2-3 days before the event, 75% of the amount will be refunded.
  • If cancellation is intimated 24 hours or less before the event, no refund will be awarded.

Nope, its best to carry your own binoculars, camera or any other bird watching equipment you prefer to view these beautiful birds close up.  

As you will be walking through the forests of Coorg, dress in long pants and a shirt that will keep you well protected from bugs and leeches. Make sure you are wearing well-fitted shoes with a good grip or hiking boots for walking the trail.  

We’d recommend carrying bug spray or mosquito repellent for this activity. You can also carry a water bottle and hand sanitizer.
