Barbeque & Camping near Savandurga Peak

The camp is focused mainly on camping outside the comfort of four walls. It offers African style tents with bathroom facilities and fans. 

Luxury tents: Please note that we have only 2 luxury tents. 

• Our luxury canvas tents are carpeted and come with a queen-size bed, charging points, pedestal fans, and a luxurious bathroom with running hot and cold water.
• These tents have a private porch which offers you an uninterrupted view of Savandurga hills.
• Breakfast is complimentary.
• Extra beds can be provided on request.
• Extra bed - INR 1000 per head (We can accommodate a maximum of 3 adults in a luxury tent).
• 2 Kids up to 6 years can stay free in the parent's room when using existing beds. Children aged 7 and above are charged extra.

Dormitories: 

• We have 2 dormitories and we can accommodate 20 individuals in both our dormitories.
• Each dorm has 5 bunk beds and can accommodate 10 individuals. Each dorm is equipped with 2 showers and 2 toilets.
• Please bring your own towels.
• We provide linen and duvets but do get your own lightweight blankets if required.
• Breakfast is complimentary.

BYOT: Bring your own tent  

• Drinking water is available.
• BYOT campers have access to the washrooms in the reception area.
• No food provided.

• Trek: 
  We have 2 trekking trails close to the camp — Bidarkatte trail and Savandurga trail.
  
  Please note that we do not organize treks for our guests. You will have to book the trek directly on the website mentioned below. It is a government website and a guide from the forest department will accompany you on the trek.

  We recommend that you book the trek at least a day prior.
  
  The trail that would be suitable for beginners and kids is the Bidarkatte trail.
  
  For more experienced trekkers, the Savandurga trek is recommended.
  
  The starting point of the trek is just a five-minute drive from the property.

• Campfire: 
  We can organize a campfire in the evening for your group if required.

• Barbeque: 
  We have a barbecue grill and we provide the coal at an extra charge of INR 500 for one use. If interested you can bring your own meat/vegetables and grill them on our barbecue. The camp offers two barbeque grills on-site, which will be provided to guests on a first come first serve basis.
  You can store the meat/ veggies in our refrigerator. 
  We have a football field as well. Lots of outdoor space to play badminton, cycle, and any outdoor games. (cricket, frisbee, etc).

Yes! The camp offers two tented dormitories for groups to enjoy the majesty of Savandurga.  

Yes! A warm campfire is an important part of the camping experience. At the camp, the campfire is a complimentary part of your stay.  

Packing essentials: 

• It is recommended that you carry a mosquito repellent, comfortable shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, torch and a sun hat/cap so that you’re comfortable in the outdoors.
• If you’re bringing infants/ kids please get mosquito patches and baby food.
• It can get chilly in the evening/ night please carry jackets/ sweaters.
• Please carry flip-flops/ slippers to wear inside the tents. We do not allow outside shoes inside our tents as our tents are carpeted. We would really appreciate it if you can keep our dorms and tents a shoe-free zone.
• Individuals staying in dorms please carry your own towels and a lightweight blanket if needed.
• Please get snacks, medicines and any other essentials that you may need as the camp is located in a small village and will not be easily available.

Camp Guest Rules: 

• No smoking inside the dorms or luxury tents.
• No littering on the property.
• If you do smoke outside on the property, please dispose of the cigarette butts in the dustbins and not on the grounds as cigarette butts are not bio-degradable. Let’s try to be eco-friendly, please.
• Do not play music from your car’s music system as it will disturb the locals.
• Do not wear outside shoes inside the dorms or luxury tents since the flooring is carpeted.
• We follow a zero-trace camping policy as we want to be eco-friendly. If you bring any plastics, cans, and bottles to the camp, please do take them back with you and dispose of them safely. Please do not leave it back at the camp.
• No music allowed post 10:00 PM as it is not allowed by the local authorities.
• No loud talking or any disturbing activity allowed post 10:00 PM as it will disturb the other guests
• Conserve water. Firmly close water taps once you are done.
• No fireworks or firearms are allowed on the property.
• A cleaning fee of INR 1000 will be charged if guests smoke inside the canvas tents, dirty the rooms or damage the furniture.

Guests staying in the dorms or luxury tents will be treated to a complimentary breakfast. For guests who choose the BYOT stay option, breakfast is not included in the package. Lunch and dinner can be purchased at the camp at an additional charge of INR 400 per head, per meal for veg, and INR 500 per head, per meal for non-veg.

Meal timings: 

• Breakfast: 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM
• Lunch: 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM
• Dinner: 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM
