Chikmagalur is an enchanting hill station in Karnataka and is located on the foothills of the Mullayanagiri peak of the Western Ghats. It holds a special place in the hearts of coffee lovers as it’s the first place in India where coffee was first introduced. Carpeted in sprawling coffee plantations, Chikmagalur is green and pleasant, attracting tourists for vacations that are delightful and relaxing.
Nestled in the midst of 400 acres of coffee plantations and forests, Coffee Brew Estate features cottages and a villa for their guests. Take a dip in the infinity pool that peers into sweeping views of the valley below or visit the main home that takes you back to the 1800’s with its beautiful stone façade.
Slip on your trekking boots and head out for a rambling trek around the emerald landscape. The cottages are private and adorned with greenery for a cozy snooze during the night.
At an elevation of around 4000 feet, Coffee Brew Estate grants you a view of Chikmagalur from above and as you sip on a cup of hot coffee, the landscape below will leave you speechless at its beauty.

- Villa Urvinkhan is a fantastic property that is 40 to 50 km away from Chikmagalur. I would highly recommend it not just to travellers on a road trip, but also as a destination by itself.
- The location is outstanding and the view from the top is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly and each meal is handcrafted and tastefully done.
- The land is surrounded by nature’s best. The hotel itself has a lovely pool and the cottages are tastefully decorated with vintage antiquities. The food is excellent and though one might find the vegetarian options limited, they use beautiful local produce.
- Loved the coffee soufflé. We enjoyed spending hours in the very well-maintained infinity pool. A perfect place for a weekend.
