1N/2D at a Homely Farmhouse

Our experience at Mayflower farmhouse: 
Just beautiful. Period. This place is a world within a world, it makes you feel like you have the entire world to yourself. It's away from all the hustle & bustle of the Hi-Tech city. Getting there is a challenge, but my all-time favorite Benjamin Franklin says "No pain, no gain"! Once you get to the farmhouse, you suddenly feel like the earth has slowed down its pace. Very refreshing. It's worth it. 
As they say "A place is only as good as the people you know in it." The hosts at this farmhouse are extremely polite & giving, they own this place & add their personal touch to everything. 
It's very special to know that ours was the 1st wedding they hosted. They took ownership of the success of our wedding. They added their final touch to our simple decor, they were very accommodating, & honored all our reasonable requests. 
About the cottage: I've always wanted a 'Little house on the prairie wedding'. Hallelujah! It was fulfilled. 
This humble yet cozy cottage is so relatable for someone that grew up reading Little house on the prairie & Little women; it's exactly like a log cabin. So earthy & rustic, no fuss & feathers. They have an expansive library with all sorts of books in it(A house with books in it has to be the best house). A table that's fit to host the last supper & a neat kitchen counter with running water and more such essential amenities & a set of turquoise tea cups. A couch to slouch, a mirror on the wall... They pretty much have it all. 
My sweet husband loved the main door & the woody staircase inside. He captured every bit of its beauty in his camera. 
Exterior: There's a picturesque muddy wall, luscious lawn, old trees standing tall so as to praise the Creator, and the crunchy fallen leaves under your feet feel better than a red carpet(I made a special request to them not to rake the leaves. Chuckles! There's an elegant pathway that's no less than a church aisle - any bride would want to walk on it....then the fresh air, birds chirping, bees humming, & plenty of wildflowers over the fence are all a bonus. 
We had a beautiful wedding at Mayflower. Everyone that attended our wedding asked me how I managed to find a place that's 2nd only to heaven. I feel like the "Star of wonder" guided me to Mayflower like it did the wise men to a manger in Bethlehem.
