Located in the French Quarter, this house was once owned by Leon Guerre, the first Mayor of Pondicherry. This delightful home is 200 years old and has been carefully restored to maintain its colonial history. Each room is different, with vintage furniture sourced from various old homes that were being demolished. As you snooze away, you’re treated to the sight of warm wooden interiors and light airy spaces.
When you’re in the mood to relax, you can head to the spacious courtyard and green garden to meditate and enjoy a hot cup of tea with a delicious authentic South Indian breakfast.

- The moment you step into the quiet quarters of the property, it takes you away from the hustle bustle and life outside! The lush greenery just like that of a beautiful forest, the yellow Chettinad style walls and pillars and the beautifully placed antiques and artifacts make you feel like you’re in a vintage movie.

The place is exactly as is described and has a lot of spaces within it to hang around in, read or just relax. We did the in-house massage offered which was really good as well. Would go back any day!
