About the experience
Chembra Range is well known for its Chembra Peak, the highest peak in the Wayanad Hills in Kerala, with an elevation of 2100m above the sea level. Around Chembra Peak lies soft green grassland, valleys with a misty blue hue and beautiful lakes perfect for an afternoon sitting in the sunshine as you watch the gentle ripples across its surface.
The trail is of moderate difficulty and is best undertaken by people with reasonable fitness levels. Ascend slowly past the tree line until you reach widespread grasslands with sun dappled grass and blooms that dot this lovely meadow. Halfway up the mountain, you’ll come cross an enchanting heart-shaped lake.
Stop here to enjoy your lunch, play some games with your little ones or even just chat in the outdoors. You’ll also be treated to magnificent views of the surrounding countryside so don’t forget to take pictures with your camera.
