Houses are more than just a place for us to stay. As we live and grow within these four walls, the stories of our lives begin to embed themselves in the concrete and overtime the brick and mortar have a life of their own.

The houses in Goa are architectural masterpieces with each one carrying a personality different from the rest. Often, the architecture is mistakenly called ‘Portuguese architecture’ without any other explanation given to the unique stories behind its quaint façade.

Carry your trusty notebook and make your way down a trail to visit prominent houses in the village. Discuss the stories about the houses and discover how and why they were constructed. You will also be privy to different stories about the making of this beautiful village.
