About Kali Adventure Camp
In Dandeli, the ‘Adventure Capital of India’, the Kali River reigns supreme, snaking through untamed terrain which consists of an eclectic mix of gorges, valleys, forests, and grassy meadows. Named after this majestic force of nature, the Kali Adventure Camp in Dandeli gives you a walk on the wild side. A sprawling bungalow is nestled next to the massive frothing water, giving you an adrenaline rush just from looking out of your room. This wilderness camp is all about making a connection with nature and finding a balance between adventure sports and ecotourism.
For those of us who love whitewater rafting, the camp is specially equipped for it. The camp has experts who will guide you during the activity and ensure all rafting safety standards are strictly adhered to! The river guides are also highly knowledgeable and will also educate you on the wildlife of Dandeli and the different adventures you can undertake during your holiday. Apart from whitewater rafting, you can also take part in coracle rides, birdwatching, nature walks, jungle safaris, and sightseeing around the beautiful region.
Dandeli’s undisturbed topography has given rise to a wide variety of flora and fauna. The Kali Tiger Reserve is home to spotted deer, gaurs, sloth bears, barking deer, hornbills, yellow-footed pigeons, peafowls, and the crested serpent eagle. The elusive black panther is also found in the reserve, and sighting this soft-footed, sleek black beast is a favorite activity for many wildlife enthusiasts. The jungle safaris take you up close to these beautiful mammals and you can take beautiful pictures to carry back home as a memento.

Things to Do at Kali Adventure Camp
- Wildlife Safari: Take a guided jungle safari to explore the diverse wildlife and lush vegetation of the Kali Tiger Reserve. You may spot various animals like deer, bison, monkeys, and a variety of birds.
- Bird Watching: Dandeli is a paradise for bird lovers. The region is home to numerous resident and migratory bird species. Grab your binoculars and go bird watching, or take a guided tour to learn about the different bird species found in the area.
- White Water Rafting: The camp is well-known for its white water rafting adventures on the Kali River. Raft through the rapids and enjoy the adrenaline rush as you navigate the exciting waters. (extra charges apply).

Things to note at Kali Adventure Camp
Please note:
- Prices are dynamic and subject to change. During booking, the team will inform you of the seasonal rates.
- Price for Children: Children (accompanying parents) between the ages of 5 and 12 years will receive a 50% discount on their stay
- Each room is twin-sharing. If a guest is booking single occupancy, you will be purchasing the entire room and will be charged as such.
Exclusions:
- Whitewater rafting and adventure sports
- Alcoholic beverages
- Transport to other sightseeing destinations
- Anything not specifically mentioned in inclusions.
Cancellation Policy:
All request for cancellation of confirmed booking have to be received through email (Used while booking) or in writing.
10% of the tariff , if cancelled 15 Days before check in date/time.
50% of the tariff , if cancelled between 48hours to 14 Days before check in date/time.
No refund for no show & if cancelled less than 48hours before check in date/time.
Post/Preponement Policy:
One Postponement / Preponement is free if requested 15 Days before check in date/time (Once postponed /preponed there is no further change or cancellation).
20% of the tariff , if requested between 7 Days to 14 Days before check in date/time.
50% of the tariff , if requested within 24hours to 7 Days before check in date/time.
No preponement/preponement modification will be given if requested within 24 hours to check-in date/time.

- A good experience, very old property but neatly maintained, the staff is co-operative and fulfilled most of our demand, we stayed in the river-facing tent right next to the river, jeep safari was good, could not spot any leopards, but the drive in the forest was a good experience, lot of activities which can be done in house as well as outside.
- The staff is so good, that you feel so welcomed. Lots of activities for kids and adults. The rooms are clean and decent.
- The best part of the package was that there is not a single penny spent if you are not into alcohol or adventure sports. The package covers a coracle ride, Jungle Safari, nature walk, and bird watching. The tents were clean and the bathrooms were also good. The best part was that the staff were amazingly hospitable and were always answering our answers with smiles, which is actually amazing for a govt. run organization.
- The staff was great. The meals were excellent! Our guide during the safari was very knowledgeable. Although we did not see many wild animals, he did his best to make our safari interesting. He also knew a lot about birds, as we found out during our bird watching tour. We saw about 20 species of birds!

Day 1
1:00 pm
Check in, settle down and freshen up.
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm
Treat yourself to a sumptuous lunch at the Gol Ghar.
3:15 pm - 3:30 pm
Gear up for a ride into the park with tea/ coffee served.
3:30 pm - 6:15 pm
Our naturalists take you on a wildlife Safari in vehicle in to the Kali Tiger Reserve / coracle ride in Kali River showing & sharing their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there.
6:30 pm - 7:15 pm
Tea/ coffee served at the Gol Ghar.
7:30 pm - 8:15 pm
Watch a wildlife movie at the conference hall.
8:30 pm - 10:00 pm
Bask in the warmth of the campfire, while you dine in the Gol Ghar, exchanging tales of the jungle with the other guests and our staff.
Day 2
6:00 am - 6:30 am
Wake up call. A cup of tea or coffee.
7:00 am - 8:15 am
Our naturalists take you on a nature walk / bird watching showing & sharing their experiences and information about the jungle and all the animals that live there.

If you must leave, we look forward to your next visit – the river has many facets. For those interested in whitewater rafting, we suggest spending the morning of the second day in this activity. Or better still, stay yet another night and enjoy the destination to its fullest.
