Built in the year 1931, the Lalitha Mahal Palace has stood for nearly 100 years. Despite its age, the palace gives you the epitome of luxury whilst also making you feel as though you have stepped back in time. The palace was initially constructed to host the former Maharaja’s most important guest, the Viceroy of India. Now, the palace is one of India’s most opulent hotels, offering its guests a chance to live the royal life in an actual Maharaja’s palace.
This shimmering white palace is located just outside the city of Mysore, at the foot of Chamundi Hills. The palace was designed as an Italianate palazzo, with double columns supporting the domed roof, and lies surrounded by beautifully terraced and landscaped gardens. Please note:
- Each room is twin-sharing. If a guest is booking single occupancy, you will be purchasing the entire room and will be charged as such.
- The palace is equipped with 2 Executive Suites, 30 Deluxe Rooms, 2 Duplex Suites, and 2 Viceroy Suites.
Exclusions:
- Alcoholic beverages
- Lunch and Dinner
- Transport to other sightseeing destinations
- Anything not specifically mentioned in inclusions
Cancellation Policy:
All request for cancellation of confirmed booking have to be received through email (Used while booking) or in writing.
10% of the tariff , if cancelled 15 Days before check in date/time.
50% of the tariff , if cancelled between 48hours to 14 Days before check in date/time.
No refund for no show & if cancelled less than 48hours before check in date/time.
Post/Preponement Policy:
One Postponement / Preponement is free if requested 15 Days before check in date/time (Once postponed /preponed there is no further change or cancellation).
20% of the tariff , if requested between 7 Days to 14 Days before check in date/time.
50% of the tariff , if requested within 24hours to 7 Days before check in date/time.
No preponement/preponement modification will be given if requested within 24 hours to check-in date/time.

- The grandeur oh my God. It's not about the pricing but rather how well-maintained this entire structure is. The food is really good; the staff is very professional and friendly. The rooms are squeaky clean and so airy! The garden is so pretty! There is a breakfast buffet which is included within the room pricing. The buffet dinner is to be paid for separately. The spread is very very good and the food tastes pretty fresh and good.
- A majestic stay. Perfect to the name - stay is really royal. The maintenance of the hotel is very good with rooms clean and spacious enough to accommodate a family of four. The pool view room has very nice views. At every place, it gives that heritage and royal look; 20+ feet floors and one even 30+ feet high roof, fully secluded and providing relaxing accommodation one has to look for. The staff here are courteous and helps to show all the heritage spots inside the palace making sure we don't miss them. One point I found to be interesting is the fact that there is RO water outside the rooms.
