Goa is famed for its serene beaches, mouthwatering seafood, thrilling watersports, and thriving nightlife. However, if you're looking to break away from the large crowds, then this coastal city has plenty of hidden gems just waiting to be discovered. Taking to the waves and coasting past the gorgeous vistas that can be viewed whichever way you turn is a delightful way to see the actual grandeur of nature here. 

The Chorao wetlands, which are located off the Mapusa River, are a mangrove paradise. The vast, desolate mangrove woodlands are penetrated by narrow canals. Paddling in the mangroves is a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Shady canals run through the mangrove trees, making them perfect for kayaking. This tour takes you deep into the mangrove forest, where you can see native vegetation and fauna beneath the mangrove canopy, where trees grow in the saline water and create a habitat for a variety of animals and plants. Explore this magical woodland, admiring the many mangrove species, observing birds and crabs, or simply relaxing.  

Before setting off, our instructors will give you a brief introduction to the sport and the gear you’ll be using. Kayaking is a relatively easy sport to pick up and these calm blue waters are perfect to get started. A 10-minute briefing followed by a short familiarization exercise on the water is sufficient for even a complete novice to participate in any of our kayaking excursions. The instructors accompany you for the entire excursion, so safety need not be a worry.
