About the experience

When you hear the name Goa, your mind may imagine stretches of long white sand beaches, with cozy-looking shacks along the side that serve cold brews along with mouthwatering seafood. For some, Goa is a rich cultural site with a lot of its architecture representing a deep colonial history. If you’re coming to this beautiful coastal city for some exciting watersports, you definitely won't be disappointed with what these waters have to offer.

Watersports in Goa are a popular attraction, as the waters here are serene and offer a wide range of activities for guests to try, ranging from surfing and jet skiing to snorkeling and scuba diving. Here, at this dive center, you can begin your scuba diving adventure with a quick theory course on how to handle the dive equipment. After testing your skills in the safety of the pool, our instructors will take you out to sea, close to the shores of Grande Island, where a plethora of marine life waits to be explored. Swim past colorful reefs of coral and schools of fish, and discover some wrecks that lie at the depths. One thing for sure, you won't forget the memories you make here any time soon.

Things to note

Note: Guests are requested to report at the Hyatt Centric on the day of the dive. The reporting location is shared below.

Highlights:

Receive a brief introduction on your SCUBA equipment, signs for communication underwater, and a quick run-through of the skills
Take a boat ride to the island, where you will dive into the sea. An instructor will accompany you through the entire duration of the dive
After everyone is done with their dives, return back to the dive center, where your photographs & videos will be shared with you.

Requirements:

Must be at least 10 years old.
Reasonable physical health.
Carry your own swimsuit, personal items, etc.

What to Expect:

Basic safety procedures and skills that you will use during dives.
You will get an overview of your scuba equipment.
You will learn to breathe underwater with your scuba equipment.
You will get to swim around and explore the ocean at 12 meters (40ft) with a PADI/SSI Professional.
You will get to see some spectacular marine life.

Inclusions:

1 Theory Session
1 Swimming Pool Training Session at the Hyatt Centric
1 Sea Dive Session
Scuba Gear
Underwater photos/videos
Boat ride to Grande Island
Complimentary Snorkeling
Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages served on the boat

What to Carry:

COVID Mask
A bottle of water
Towel
An extra set of clothes

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation 72 hours or more, prior to the date of activity – 75% refund
Cancellation between 72hrs to 48 hours, prior to the date of activity – 50% refund
Cancellation 48 hours or less, prior to the date of activity – 0% refund
In case of bad weather, we will offer the dive to be postponed to another date, any time when the guest will be comfortable/ available.
If this is not an option or not possible for any reason, we will refund the whole amount back to the guest, minus the cost of any activities the guest has already been part of (pool training, Boat journey, etc.)
