The Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary is a hotspot of biodiversity in Goa. Situated in the Western Ghats, the park is home to a variety of indigenous flora and fauna. As a wildlife enthusiast, sighting majestic animals and exotic flora in their natural habitat is a dream come true.
Walk down a trail across the laterite plateau in the park and capture spectacular photographs of wildlife against the natural beauty of the forest. The rugged, reddish plateau is wide and flat; perfect to take snaps of wild animals that are out in the open. It is also a habitat to several species of unique vegetation. During the monsoon season, the plateau is teeming with wildlife as they drink from shallow puddles or enjoy the cool rains. As the sun gently dips in the sky, the sunset bathes the surroundings in a warm glow, creating a picturesque view that will delight any visitor.
