Often referred to as the ‘Scotland of India’ for its striking resemblance to the Highlands in terms of rolling hills and evergreen valleys, a journey through these beautiful sights has always been a crowd-pleaser.  

This remote campsite in Kushalnagar could be the offbeat adventure you need to blow off some steam. Situated far away from the crowded tourist spots, come experience the simpler things in life as you find yourself enveloped by dense forests and rolling hills as far as the eye can see. As you arrive at the campsite, you’ll find that the only sounds breaking the eerie silence of the forests be that of the occasional bird or cricket chirping around you. 

Once the afternoon heat begins to fade, climb aboard our rugged 4x4 jeeps and enjoy cruising by the backwaters as you witness some spectacular sights. Be sure to have your camera charged and ready because the diverse wildlife in the region is surely something you’ll want to capture. As the day comes to an end, settle down by the bonfire for some ribbing banter under the star-lit sky.
