What treatments does your wellness spa offer?
Essence Wellness Spa offers treatments to soothe and rejuvenate your body and soul. It is fully equipped with two massage rooms, a Jacuzzi, and a steam bath. You can choose from relaxation or therapeutic experiences: Aroma and Swedish massages, foot massages, facials, and more. Separate Packages are designed for women and men; singles and couples.
Are there Wildlife Safaris available at the resort?
Yes, we can help put you in touch with the wildlife safaris that are conducted at Kabini. The Karnataka Forest Department conducts daily road and boat safaris, subject to weather conditions and government regulations. During the monsoon waterholes in the interiors are full so animals prefer to stay in, while thick undergrowth hides even a sizable elephant making sightings slightly difficult. All safaris are accompanied by a certified Naturalist. Both safaris are conducted twice daily (6.30 AM and 3:30 PM).
What type of meals are served at Waterwoods?
All meals at Waterwoods are served as buffet-style meals. It’s a homely dining experience with a variety of Indian, Continental, and Fusion food. The food is cooked with the freshest produce, about 65% of the fruits, vegetables, and herbs used come from the Lodge’s own organic garden and greenhouse.
Are there any special dining arrangements for a couple?
Yes, there’s nothing more romantic than enjoying the beauty of the Kabini together. For couples, there is an exclusive ‘Dine with the Stars experience by the river' (depending on the season). This option is available on request.
