Nestled in the breathtaking Himalayas, Chamba is a charming town located in the Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh. Renowned for its ancient temples, historic caves, and captivating architecture that reflects the rich tapestry of Indian history, this picturesque town offers spellbinding views of the Pir Panjal, Zanskar, and Dhauladhar mountain ranges. Situated at an elevation of 996 meters along the banks of the Ravi River, Chamba is bordered by the regions of Jammu and Kashmir, Lahaul, and Kangra. The town is celebrated for its traditional handicrafts, exquisite art, and the enchanting miniature Pahari paintings, originating from the Himalayan hill kingdoms of North India during the 17th to 19th centuries.
