Overview
Located at the junction of the Ganga and Jalangi rivers, Mayapur is a serene city known for its breathtaking views and numerous temples, making it an ideal destination for spiritual seekers. This Vaishnavite pilgrim center was established by Bhakti saint Vinod Thakur and is believed to be the birthplace of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, an incarnation of Lord Krishna, in the year 1486 AD.
