Nizamabad, situated in the North-Western region of Telangana, is a vibrant urban center and the third-largest city in the state. Once a part of Andhra Pradesh, it became the district headquarters governed by the municipal corporation after the reorganization act of 2014. Known as the City of Nizams, Nizamabad gets its name from 'Nizam' and 'Abad,' meaning The Nizam of Hyderabad and Long Live, respectively. The city beautifully blends history, religion, and natural resources such as lakes and rivers. With a tropical climate and occasional rainfall, the best time to visit is during the pleasant winters from November to February.
