Overview
Nizamabad, situated in the North-Western region of Telangana, is a vibrant urban center and the third-largest city in the state. Once a part of Andhra Pradesh, it became the district headquarters governed by the municipal corporation after the reorganization act of 2014. Known as the City of Nizams, Nizamabad gets its name from 'Nizam' and 'Abad,' meaning The Nizam of Hyderabad and Long Live, respectively.
