The River Kali, which runs through the camp, offers both peaceful coracle rides and thrilling white water rafting.The natural fragrance of thyme and basil along with the rich fresh air is sure to be a soothing experience for visitors. The service at the camp is also noteworthy, with a bar stocked with spirits and a delicious buffet meals being served at the round gazebo enclosure called the Gol Ghar. The meals include continental, Chinese and Indian cuisines, and complete vegetarian meals can be arranged upon request.

The camp also offers plenty of opportunities for relaxation and tranquility. After watching the weaverbird busily working on its nest, guests can curl up in a comfortable hammock and let the sound of the river's flow lull them into peaceful sleep. During the night, campers can gather around the campfire and listen to the exciting stories of other campers, like their adventure inside the dark Kavala Caves, the huge Mahseer (a fish in the Carp family) they caught that morning or the two-hour white water rafting adventure. The campfire is a great place to share experiences and make new friends. The Kali Tiger Reserve nearby is home to the elusive black panther and guests can take jeep safaris to spot other wildlife such as deer, sloth bears, hornbills, and eagles. The camp offers variety of activities for all type of visitors, whether you are looking for adventure, relaxation or a little bit of both. Things to do at the property

There are many activities offered at Kali Adventure Camp in Dandeli, which is a popular adventure spot in Karnataka, India. The camp is equipped for rafting and the river guides are highly experienced. Additionally, there are many opportunities for rock climbing on the nearby cliffs and boulders and can also try their hand at ziplines over the scenic valley. Guests can experience the thrill of descending down a steep incline by rappelling.

Visitors can take jeep safaris into the Kali Tiger Reserve to spot the elusive black panther and other wildlife. Many visitors also find the experience of trekking through the jungle during early morning hours, with the sun streaming through the branches, to be a memorable one. Guests can also explore the river and its rapids in a kayak or a canoe. Besides this, guests can go on a traditional circular boat ride or coracle rides and watch the birds and crocodiles along the river. Other visitors may prefer the main lodge, which has ten rooms and can accommodate upto twenty people. The camp also has a large reception and dining hall that can be used for conferences and meetings. Up to 100 people can be accommodated in the conference facilities.

Your itinerary at Kali Adventure Camp

• A day at the Kali Wilderness and Adventure Camp can include checking in at 1pm and settling in, followed by a delicious lunch at the Gol Ghar. After lunch, gear up for a guided tour in the park at 3.15pm, either a wildlife safari in a vehicle in the Kali Tiger Reserve or a Coracle ride in the Kali river.
• During the tour, naturalists share their experiences and knowledge of the jungle and the animals that live there. After the tour, enjoy tea/coffee at 6.30pm while relaxing before watching a wildlife movie in the Conference Hall at 7.30pm. The day ends with a campfire and dinner from 8.30 pm onwards at the Gol Ghar, where guests can share stories and experiences with other visitors and staff.
• The next day starts with a wake up call at 6:00 am, followed by a cup of tea or coffee. At 7:00 am, the naturalists take you on a nature walk or bird watching tour, sharing their experiences and information about the jungle and the animals that live there.
• After the tour, breakfast is served back at the camp at 8:30 am. The morning can be further enjoyed with a coracle ride on the Kali river around 9:00 am. For those leaving, the camp management suggests a return visit to fully experience the different facets of the river and if interested, whitewater rafting can be taken in the morning of the second day, or better staying for another night to fully enjoy the destination.
