A Green colour: The psychological importance

Let’s Talk Green!

Have you ever thought how colors trigger emotions in an individual? Color psychology talks about how colors influence our behavior. The psychological effects of colour have direct impact on our emotions like comfort, warmth, anger etc. are  Blue is supposed to make you feel calm, red is associated with excitement and love, yellow feels warm, summery, etc. Colours and emotions are closely related and different colours evoke different emotions. Which is why we see usage of colours in representing emotions in art, design etc.

The colour green is often associated with nature, life, energy, renewal, healing. Did you know that a human eye can see more shades of green than other colors? This is perhaps because not long ago, our ancestors resided in lush areas and actual jungles, not the concrete jungles that we reside in. The human body still benefits from this green therapy - be it mental or physical. Don't believe us? Check this list out!
